What We Do

A full-service welfare clinic — and many ways for you to help: volunteer, foster, adopt, donate or leave a legacy.

What we do

The Animal Welfare Society runs a full-service welfare clinic and rescue operation. Here's how we care for animals every day.

Veterinary Clinic

Our welfare clinic provides affordable veterinary care to pet owners who would otherwise be unable to access it, including consultations, treatments and surgery.

Sterilisations

Sterilisation is the single most effective way to reduce the number of unwanted animals. We perform thousands of sterilisations every year.

Vaccinations

We vaccinate against the most common and dangerous diseases to keep companion animals and communities healthy.

Adoptions & Fostering

Every animal in our adoption programme is sterilised, vaccinated and microchipped before going to its forever home, and our foster families give animals the time and love they need to recover before adoption.

How you can help

We rely entirely on the generosity of the public. Here are the many ways you can make a difference.

Volunteer

Give your time and skills — from walking dogs and socialising cats to helping at events and in the office.

Foster

Open your home to an animal in need and give them a safe space to recover before they find a permanent family.

Adopt

Adopt, don't shop. Browse the animals currently looking for a home and change a life forever.

Leave a Legacy

Remember the animals in your will and create a lasting impact for generations of animals to come.

Donate

Your donation — whether once-off or monthly — directly funds food, medicine, surgery and care. See the options below.
